Haeli turns 3!!!!

My little sweetie pie turned 3 on Saturday! I can hardly believe it!

Haeli is such a fun little girl. She's spunky and playful yet peaceful. She loves to dance and bounce around. Her favorite color is yellow. She loves to sing and play with her big sister. She pretty much wants to do whatever Maili does, although she is her own person and has her own likes and dislikes. She's a great big sister to Ashli and loves to giggle with her.  She is really quite obedient and doesn't cause a lot of problems for us. She's a petite little thing and has a great vocabulary. She learned to pedal her bike a few months ago and she loves to swim.

We love her so much and can't imagine life without her. She brings so much joy to our family! Happy Birthday little sweetie pie!

Just a FEW of the reasons I love KEVIN-


K- Keeps his cool- Kevin is the stable one in our relationship/family. He is so even tempered it's almost scary. I love how he calms me down just by his presence. He doesn't have to say anything, he just has a calmness that I adore and need.
E-Easy to be with - From our first date, Kevin has been so easy to be with. Either in comfortable silence or talking, it's just easy and good. I love being with him. I love it when he comes home at the end of the day. I love it when we go out as a family or out on a date. I love to be with him watching t.v. or sitting side by side with our laptops on our laps. (pathetic, I know)  I just love being with him and it's not something you can describe, it just feels good and life has always been better when he's around.
V-Virtuous--Now I know what you're thinking, but it's not what I meant! I love the scripture in D&C 121 that says let virtue garnish thy thoughts unceasingly. To me, one of the definitions of virtue is "the best of everything"
Kevin sees the good in people...I don't know that I've ever heard a judgmental comment from him. He just DOES NOT speak ill of people. He's always been an example to me in that way.
I-Intelligent- Kevin is the smartest person I know. He thinks he's a nerd, I think he's a genius. He knows so many things that are so above my head, but he has a way of never making me feel dumb. NEVER   I love how smart he is and I love that I can ask him all kinds of questions without feeling retarded.
N- Nice- This may seem like a cop out, but he is truly one of the nicest people I know. I've already said how he is Not judgmental, but he also so generous! He would do anything for anybody. He can't say no! He never lets on if he doesn't really want to do it or not. He just is nice.

W. Wonderful Father- Kevin is the best dad. Our girls absolutely love him. They love to play with him, read with him, walk with him, dance with him,chase him, jump with him and on him.  He is a big help to me in so many ways when it comes to the girls. He's a diaper changer, burp cloth, late night comforter and wonderful pillow.

We love you babe- You are the best father and husband I could have ever asked for.

I put our girls in the High School cheer clinic.

. I was afraid Haeli would be too small to follow along, but boy was I wrong! She did great! As did Maili! They loved being part of a show. And I love having daughters to do all this stuff with!  Even Ashli was trying to cheer along!

Afterwards, we went and got some ice cream cones and they were so big and messy, that when we got home we rinsed off like this.....

Outside is FUN!

It's amazing how much stuff you get when you have kids. We're trying to make our yard a fun place where our kids will want to be. I got a great deal on this spinning teeter-totter. The girls absolutely love it! Of course, Haeli's legs are still a bit short, so she's mostly along for the ride :;)

What kids don't like playing in the sand?  Our great neighbor, Matt, built this fantastic sand box for us and the girls absolutely love it! Can we talk hours and hours of fun?  It's awesome!

It's our pride and joy!

It's fun to see things for the first time through your kids eyes. As I was pulling weeds last week, I found lots of worms and potato bugs. So I called the girls over and they were mesmerized for literally hours!  I got them some jars and they made little homes for a couple of their friends, but fortunately for me, they died pretty fast so we didn't have to bring them inside!  It was so fun to see how excited and interested they are in the things I take for granted everyday AND the things that I just want nothing to do with....like worms.
