Welcome Kinli!

Our sweet baby girl was born 9 days early!   Thank you, sweetheart!

Kinli Mae Wilkins

9.1 lbs.   19 1/2"

Contractions and um "leakage" started at 4:30 am....we went to the hospital around 8:00am as contractions were irregular but really painful.  After checking me, we knew I was in real labor but progressing slowly.
Kinli didn't come until 2:45pm.  Not only was it slower, but it was harder. I had to work extra hard to get her out!  We had no idea she was going to big that big!  9.1 is what they called her weight at, but it was done extra quickly in the NICU and her doctor also said he was a bit concerned about how much weight she had lost within 24 hours.......so....she may not have really been quite that big, but she was definitely up there!

Kinli wouldn't cry when she was born to clear her lungs so her oxygen levels were low. She had to spend a couple hours in the NICU and then all was well!
