April catch-up

APRIL FOOL'S!
Everyone was so excited to have cake for dinner!  It was meatloaf with mashed potatoes and ketchup decorations!

The best one was the drink. Wow mom made punch?!!!
Nope it was JELLO!

Another good snow storm in April!

It only lasted about a day, but it was almost as exciting as the first one...Not for me....
I am ready for Spring!

Maili's primary teacher told me a funny story about Maili today.
Teacher: What things did Joseph Smith tell us that the Lord said we shouldn't eat?
Maili: "We shouldn't eat the boogers from our nose!"

This morning the girls were pretending to be different animals and we had to guess what they were.
They would give us hints to help us.
Haeli: I swim in the water
me: a fish, an alligator
Haeli: and I ate Joseph Smith!
me: um I don't think anything ate Joseph Smith
Maili: No, she means a prophet....she's a whale!
me: ohhhhhhhh

Our girls with the Smith kids. They're like 3 sets of twins as far as age goes.  Such good friends!

Green is my signature color!

St. Patrick's day was a lot of fun this year. We had a very mischievous Leprechaun this year!  He left green balloons, green clovers hanging from the ceiling, tipped over our kitchen chairs, colored our toilet water green, put blankets over our t.v. and turned our milk and one egg green!  We had the perfect trap this year, but alas we still were only able to catch the pot of gold and that darn Leprechaun got away!
